Public Speaking ECA
Friday | 3:00-3:50pm | Years 3-5 | Years 6-8
The CentreStage Public Speaking course guarantees to build students' confidence. Using the LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) Examination syllabus, the course coaches students to develop and to hone the necessary oral communication and written skills for public presentations, debating skills, interview techniques and promotes courage and conviction when delivering speeches to an audience.
Students will have the chance to influence their peers and make an impact by communicating their ideas in an organised and coherent manner, while having the confidence to effectively justify their views to others.
All of our students will be given the option of entering for their Speaking in Public LAMDA Examination in May 2025.

TUESDAY’S
CLASSICAL BALLET ECA
Tuesday | 3:00-3:50pm | Years 1-5
Ballet teaches elegance, pose, attention to detail and physical strength. While our classes focus on technique our ultimate aim is to produce Ballet dancers who demonstrate musicality and artistry when performing. Our Ballet curriculum is carefully devised in such a way to provide students with a holistic understanding of Classical Ballet and the various practitioners that are instrumental to the industry. In the Spring Term students will continue to work on securing technique, developing musicality and artistry, while expanding their dance vocabulary.
Hip Hop ECA
Tuesday | 4:00-4:50pm | Years 1-5
Hip Hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping and locking. Hip hop dancing is very dynamic and helps dancers improve flexibility, develop body balance and coordination. Students will begin the course by securing their technical foundations including posture, learning dance vocabulary and start to explore musicality. Each week students will explore funky hip-hop routines to the most popular, current music. Through this we will encourage students to step outside of the box and bring their own individual style and personality to the movements.
