Public Speaking
STAND OUT FroM THE CROWD
The CentreStage Public Speaking course is guaranteed to build confidence and will promote courage and conviction when speaking in public. The course develops students ability to hone the necessary oral communication and written skills and for public presentations, debating skills, interview techniques and promotes courage and conviction when delivering speeches to an audience. Students will have the chance to influence their peers and make an impact by communicating their ideas in an organised and coherent manner, while having the confidence to effectively justify their views to others. Students will become analytical thinkers and researchers, being able to deliver a show-stopping speeches that influence their peers and make them stand out from the crowd! All students will be given the opportunity to take a Speaking in Public LAMDA Examination.

LAMDA qualifications help hundreds of thousands of candidates across the world to develop confidence, communication skills and performance techniques. LAMDA exams focus on achievement – aiming to provide each individual with the opportunity to succeed and empower their sense of self, which ultimately creates well-rounded individuals.
LAMDA is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding organisations who have been offering practical examinations in communication and performance subjects for over 130 years.
LAMDA is an accredited awarding body of Ofqual (The Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator in England). Communication and Performance Examinations at Level 3 are recognised within the UCAS tariff for UK University entrance.
CentreStage Studios HK students 6 - 18yrs will have the opportunity to enter for LAMDA Examinations at least once per year.
